Home Needed for Young Man with Disabilities

If your new year’s resolution includes changing a life, consider opening your home to a young man with an intellectual disability. Pathlight, an innovative organization providing services for people with disabilities, is actively recruiting for a care provider or couple who would like to care for a young man with cognitive disabilities in their own home, here in Hampshire County.
The ideal candidate would have skills in working with this population and would be able to establish good routines, set reasonable limits, assist with personal care, provide an active and healthy lifestyle, and assist this young man in learning skills to be more independent. An open heart, reliability, maturity, and flexibility are required.
A generous tax-free stipend, training, case management supports, and respite are offered.
